Dr. HeidI Haislip MD

Dr. Heid Haislip completed a bachelor’s degree with a major in microbiology and a minor in English and a medical degree and residency in rural family medicine at Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S.  Canada. She has been a family physician since 1996. She  worked in Canada for 9 years, in Lancaster Texas (just south of Dallas) for 7 years. She  worked in Madill, Ok for almost 10 years and has just recently moved to Wewoka, OK.

Her special interests include mental health, hospice, geriatrics, and pediatrics. She has worked in a rural mental health clinic 1- 2 days a month for the last 9 years, also.

She has  2 amazing children: Hunter 18, who just jointed the US Navy and Holly 17, a Junior in High school. She has been married to the love of her life, John Haislip since 1999.
